Peugeot Motocycles presents its latest electric innovations: the E-Ludix and the E-Metropolis concept
E-Ludix: The City-Kultroller in electric version. The Ludix returns as an electric version. With more than 250,000 copies sold in 15 years, the Ludix is a bestseller whose reliability and versatility have made it famous. This bestseller from the 50 cc class was produced in various versions.
Thanks to this success and versatility, Ludix is now developing into a brand-new electric version, once again demonstrating Peugeot Motocycles' aspiration to adapt the design of its vehicles to new forms of mobility. With the E-Ludix, the brand is expanding its range of electric vehicles in the third generation to now two vehicles in two years.
The E-Ludix was unveiled as a premiere during the Mondial de la Moto in Paris and joins the category of 50 cc scooters driving license class AM. The maximum speed is limited to 45 km / h.
A light 84 kg, of which 9 kg for the battery, are powered by a powerful Bosch engine of the latest generation produced in Europe. This 2-seater, with a power of 3 kW (4 hp), will impress with its remarkable dynamics and its compactness.
Peugeot Motocycles attaches particular importance to the excellent quality of the battery and equips the E-Ludix with a lithium-ion battery from Bosch. The removable and easy to carry battery can be charged at any standard household power outlet. The battery allows a range up to 50 km and has a system for braking energy recovery. External charging takes place within 3 hours.
