Intro
More than half a million Speedfights have been sold since its launch in the mid-1990's and this third generation of Peugeot's iconic sports scooter with a choice of air-cooled or liquid cooled engines, ensures the Speedfight legend continues.
Overview
With a free-revving liquid-cooled two-stroke engine with snakebite exhaust, 13” wheels with polished rims and Shuricane disc brakes front and rear, the limited edition Speedfights ooze sporting credentials. Three versions are available; straight from the paddock and with racing graphics and alloy footplates, the Team celebrates Peugeot's success at the Le Mans 24 hours. In matt black, the Darkside is understated, with contrasting red brake callipers and polished steel bar ends, while the Iceblade exudes cool, with clean fresh lines.
Storage
Unlock the seat to reveal a generous storage bay that's ideal for stowing a helmet when parked or carrying shopping/luggage when on the move.
Practical
Class leading 8.1 litre capacity fuel tank means longer gaps between refills. There are retractable alloy footrests for pillion passengers and Peugeot thoughtfully include a dual function 12V socket so that mobile phones and accessories can be charged on the move.
Ride with Confidence
Handling is assured thanks to the re-designed chassis, 32mm hydraulic front forks, gas-filled rear shock-absorber and 13-inch front wheel. In addition to its wavy 215mm front brake disc the limited edition Speedfights have a 196mm rear disc too for powerful and controllable braking.
