Peugeot's compact maxi-scooter, the Citystar, will be available in the company's special series RS trim for 2013.
With its low-profile tinted sports windscreen sitting above the black and chrome grille the Citystar has a purposeful appearance that is emphasised by the twin halogen 35W headlamps. Wheels, lower fork legs and passenger grab rail are all painted black, contrasting with the bodywork, in a choice of ice white or titanium.
Powered by a 15hp liquid cooled 125cc motor, the Citystar is responsive in traffic and capable on the open road, while fuel injection delivers excellent fuel economy (up to 80mpg). Its 13’’ wheels are fitted with Michelin tyres for secure road holding and stability at speed, with a 260 mm brake disc at the front and 210 mm disc at the rear for controllable stopping power. A 90° turning radius makes the Citystar manoeuvrable in traffic and other tight spaces.
Despite its compact size, the Citystar offers maximum storage space, with a lockable compartment under the seat that can accommodate two helmets and a handy glove box with a 12V socket for charging devices while on the move .
